The Enterprise Risk Analyst will support the university-wide risk management program by collaborating with various departments to identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks that could impact the University’s mission and strategy. This role involves conducting comprehensive risk assessments, analyzing data trends, and developing strategies to enhance the risk management framework, ensuring compliance with institutional strategies and regulations.

  • Build and foster constructive relationships university-wide, promoting partnership and collaboration.
  • Assist university departments in identifying, quantifying, and tracking risks.
  • Monitor and analyze internal and external trends that impact risk.
  • Collaborate with risk managers on reporting and evaluation techniques for risk management data.
  • Advise on strategies to minimize potential risks and create risk mitigation plans.
  • Continuously assess and improve existing risk management processes and tools.
  • Employ risk management tools/software for data collection and analysis.
  • Compile reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Assist in managing insurance claims and policy renewals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum three years of experience in risk analysis or risk management in a complex organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in risk and control identification, data analysis, and trending.
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks (NIST, COSO, ISO 27000).
  • Experience in building partnerships and educating employees on risk management practices.
  • Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and GRC platform.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Knowledge of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) principles.
  • Professional certification such as ARM, CRM, RMP.
  • Experience in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Knowledge of information security and privacy fundamentals.
  • Full-time permanent position with a competitive salary range of $54,000 - $85,000.
