The Enterprise Risk Management Analytics & Reporting Analyst will be responsible for assisting in developing and delivering critical regulatory and risk metrics & analytics across the Bank's risk areas through regular risk reporting, customized risk analysis, and risk tools. This will include engaging with the Bank's lending, investing, and finance stakeholders to assess potential credit, liquidity, etc., risks associated with the Bank's portfolios, products, processes, and strategies. This will also include building out robust, systematic, and efficient workflows, processes, and procedures around the production of risk analytics for financial & non-financial risk, risk capital and regulatory reporting. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in building out and managing a comprehensive set of reports and presentations for regulators, internal risk committees and senior leadership across Risk and the Bank leadership
  • Actively engage with Bank's lending and investing stakeholders to assess potential credit risks associated with lending portfolios, products, processes, and strategies
  • Deliver risk indicators, analytics & insights based on deep understanding of the Bank's lending businesses
  • Support the interpretation of internal and external policies and regulatory requirements relevant to the analytics and reporting mandate
  • Work with various internal and external data owners to identify and utilize available data sources to fulfill analytical needs
  • Ensure solid governance and effective controls across risk reporting activities and information in accordance with the Bank and regulatory standards
  • Provide challenge of new or modified activity and business change risk assessments

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Office PowerPoint (creating and executing presentations), and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Formatting, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience with programming for extract transform load (ETL) operations and data analysis (including performance optimization) using languages such as, but not limited to, Python, SQL and R
  • 5+ years of experience in developing data visualization and business intelligence solutions using tools such as, but not limited to, Tableau, PowerBI, and front-end technologies and languages
  • 3+ of years of experience in a bank or other financial institution with duties focused on familiarity with financial products including commercial and consumer loan products, financial statements, cash flow projections, and credit rating
  • 3+ years of experience in second line of defense governance roles, in assessing and / or implementing change management programs at banking institutions

  • Proven solid written communication skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
  • Ability to work Monday - Friday at the office location in Draper UT / Salt Lake City UT Regional Area
