About the position

The Account Director at Adobe is responsible for achieving sales targets by selling the Adobe Learning Manager platform within the Digital Learning business. This role involves developing long-term customer relationships, crafting strategic account plans, and engaging with significant prospect brands across the North American industry segment. The Account Director will utilize software solution selling capabilities and maintain direct, face-to-face contact with customers to guide them in successfully implementing Adobe solutions and expanding their value.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets by selling the Adobe Learning Manager platform.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships and strategic account plans.
  • Build robust account plans and lead regular account planning meetings.
  • Establish strong executive relationships across multiple fields including CLO, CHRO, CXO, and CDOs.
  • Identify and unlock new revenue opportunities within key accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Adobe Digital Experience sales team to co-sell the Adobe Learning Manager platform.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to uncover viable solutions.
  • Lead collaboration with Adobe's Ecosystem and Partners to drive outcomes.
  • Manage large internal sales processes involving various departments.
  • Meet sales quotas and maintain an efficient business operation.
  • Advance and close sales opportunities by executing the sales strategy.
  • Maintain a rolling 4Q pipeline and quickly qualify opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience selling learning platform solutions to CHROs, CLOs, IT, and brands in large enterprises.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and market share goals.
  • Experience in selling enterprise Learning platforms or SAAS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the learning ecosystem within enterprise organizations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and partner with other Adobe teams.
  • Validated sales excellence and a creative, problem-solving approach.
