We are looking for experienced Scrum Master to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. This is a fast paced, challenging, and career rewarding experience to recruit and develop provide top talent and solutions on one of the most complex and high-profile programs within the government customer community.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Lean Agile and leadership coach for an IT organization that comprises of Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering and Operations, Software Development, Security, and Close Support.
• Coach and facilitate team building and leadership offsite events.
• Act as an Enterprise Scrum Master using Lean Agile, setting up new projects and workflows within Jira.
• Develop project milestone and sprint burn-up charts using ERDOS.
• Facilitate division level sprint planning and grooming ceremonies.
• Monitor the progress of multiple concurrent and highly visible projects and requirements.
• Recommend or take required corrective actions; skilled at risk identification and management.
• Communicate effectively to the customer, stakeholder, and project team.
• Lead and manage enterprise level projects with multi-disciplinary cross-organizational project teams.
• Identify programmatic challenges, risks, and constraints and convey well thought mitigation strategies.
• Lead and manage infrastructure engineering projects using the Agile methodology.

Requirements

• Hold the following Professional Certifications: Project Management Professional (i.e. PMI PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), Leadership Coaching.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with serving as a Lean Agile and leadership coach.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with coaching and facilitating team building and leadership offsite events.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with serving as an Enterprise Scrum Master.
• Demonstrated on-the-job ability to monitor the progress of multiple concurrent and highly visible projects.
• Outstanding communication skill and ability to articulate complex resource and technical issues.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with managing multiple concurrent projects.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience to identify programmatic challenges, risks, and constraints.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience to lead and manage infrastructure engineering projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with developing and managing resource loaded project schedules using MS project.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with using Jira for managing backlogs, portfolios, products and sprints.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with using SharePoint as a document repository.
• Demonstrated on-the-job ability to communicate complex technical concepts to executive and senior managers.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with leading and managing a cross functional infrastructure engineering team.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge of enterprise technical architecture and services-oriented architectures.
• Demonstrated familiarity with issues, policies, systems, and working relationships.
• Demonstrated on-the-job knowledge and experience with coaching/guiding an IT organization through the transition from PMF to Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with service catalog, IT Gateway, ESP, JIRA, Hive and SharePoint.
• Expertise and knowledge in the entire development system life cycle.
• Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies.
• Experience working with the government.
• Perform Quality and Assurance (Q&A).
• Configuration Management.
• Data Analysis: ability to identify, control, record, report, audit and verify/validate Configuration Item (CI) attributes.
