Responsibilities

• Become licensed through the Electrical Apprenticeship Program.
• Work safely and adhere to OSHA regulations and Interstates' safety standards.
• Measure, cut, and bend conduit using appropriate tools.
• Operate power tools such as drills, saws, and tuggers.
• Install conductors in raceway and cable tray using manual and power equipment.
• Assist in lifting, positioning, and fastening wiring, conduit, and motors.
• Perform minor repairs like replacing fuses and light sockets.
• Disassemble defective electrical equipment using power tools.
• Load, transport, unload, and furnish materials and tools to Journeyman and Foreman Electricians.
• Use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts as required.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned by field leaders.

Requirements

• No prior experience required, but a strong interest in the electrical field is essential.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
