Entry-Level Auto Technician

About the position

We're looking for Automotive Mechanics with a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive repair experience to join us at Carvana - the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. As an Entry-Level Technician, you'll be expected to perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and/or conduct the initial inspection on our vehicles to look for any imperfections or repairs that may be needed throughout the reconditioning process. Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance on vehicles
• Conduct fluid checks
• Conduct initial inspections on vehicles to identify imperfections or repairs needed
• Utilize state-of-the-art tools in Inspection Centers

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of professional automotive repair experience
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
• Ability to work in excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
• Ability to use safety equipment such as face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, and masks

Nice-to-haves

• ASE certification
• Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles
