About the position

Medpace, Inc. is seeking a full-time, office-based Clinical Database Programmer to join our Medpace Reference Laboratory team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This position is integral to our global activities, which are expanding rapidly. As a Clinical Database Programmer, you will work collaboratively within a team to accomplish tasks and projects that are crucial to the success of the company. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to leverage their previous expertise while also developing and growing their careers further. In this position, you will be responsible for working closely with the Project Management team to set up, validate, and maintain clinical trial databases in accordance with company standards. You will act as the primary contact for the data management team for assigned studies, providing all necessary technical support and ensuring the quality of programming while adhering to company standards. Importantly, no prior programming experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided upon hiring. However, experience in data entry and data quality control is considered a plus. To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a math or information science field. Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are essential, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be expected to work effectively in a team environment alongside data managers, data coordinators, statisticians, and programmers, all while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a Project Management team to setup, validate, and maintain clinical trial databases according to company standards.
  • Act as primary contact to the data management team for assigned studies, supplying all necessary technical support, and ensuring quality of the programming and adherence to company standards.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required (preferably in a math or information science field).
