About the position

Trihydro is seeking an Entry Level Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join our Industrial, Commercial and Energy Services team. This role involves providing field support for soil and groundwater remediation, sample collection, technical report preparation, and project management assistance. The ideal candidate will contribute to addressing complex environmental challenges while maintaining a commitment to safety and effective communication with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide field support for soil and groundwater remediation implementation.
  • Conduct soil and water sample collection.
  • Prepare technical reports and assist in project management.
  • Manage and interpret data related to environmental projects.
  • Oversee field and construction activities at project sites.
  • Prepare environmental permits and plans.
  • Administer health and safety programs at active sites.
  • Communicate site activity with project management and clients.

Requirements

  • 0-2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geology, Geologic Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or similar; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Willingness to obtain professional certification.
  • Strong academic GPA and relevant thesis topic.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Great employment history with a commitment to safe work practices.
  • Initiative and motivation to complete project deliverables on schedule.
  • Dependable team player with mechanical inclination.
  • Ability to travel to client sites and other Trihydro offices.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Nice-to-haves

  • GIS or CADD training.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Direct industry employment history in environmental assessment.
  • Experience leading field events in energy, commercial, or industrial settings.
