About The Position

LPA, Inc. is seeking a passionate Entry Level Interior Designer to join their integrated team focused on creating engaging educational environments. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams on various projects primarily in Southern California, emphasizing sustainability and positive social impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • 0-2 years of experience in all phases of Interior Design projects
  • Experience with Revit, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
  • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Committed to building a long-term professional career

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the integrated design process with other disciplines at LPA
  • Assist Design Coordinators and Project Leaders in the execution of specific assignments
  • Prepare presentations and documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents
  • Assist in research for product and construction methods related to projects
  • Review and process construction administration documents
  • Attend construction meetings and field visits to further understand detailing and coordination
