The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and drive environmental management and training to support operations and enhance environmental performance.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement environmental tools and training for information systems
Data analysis for internal and external reporting
Provide mentorship and coaching to internal team members and assist with environmental compliance and initiatives
Translate environmental requirements to divisions and operational teams
Lead training and development of environmental talent
Support of environmental collection and reporting
Support and participate in environmental audits
Support environmental permitting and regulatory applicability assessment
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Science-based or Engineering Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
5+ years of environmental experience
Prior environmental consulting, or industrial/manufacturing experience supporting environmental compliance and management systems
Knowledge and experience with air, water, and waste environmental regulations, permitting, and policies
Strong Written and Oral Communication
Experience with project management
Previous supervisor and/or leadership experience
