About the position

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop and drive environmental management and training to support operations and enhance environmental performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement environmental tools and training for information systems
• Data analysis for internal and external reporting
• Provide mentorship and coaching to internal team members and assist with environmental compliance and initiatives
• Translate environmental requirements to divisions and operational teams
• Lead training and development of environmental talent
• Support of environmental collection and reporting
• Support and participate in environmental audits
• Support environmental permitting and regulatory applicability assessment
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Science-based or Engineering Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of environmental experience
• Prior environmental consulting, or industrial/manufacturing experience supporting environmental compliance and management systems
• Knowledge and experience with air, water, and waste environmental regulations, permitting, and policies
• Strong Written and Oral Communication
• Experience with project management
• Previous supervisor and/or leadership experience
