About the position

The Key Account Manager EPC & Energy Transition is responsible for developing and executing project strategies aligned with the company's long-term business objectives. This role focuses on managing commercial and technical strategies for strategic projects, particularly in the energy transition sector, while ensuring revenue growth in the aftermarket business. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including EPCs, contractors, and end-users, to drive project pursuits and enhance customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a key member of the Global Projects Sales team to achieve regional commitments and targets.
  • Manage project pursuit activities directly with end users, EPCs, and contractors.
  • Drive proposal and contract processes to develop scope, cost, risk, and pricing strategies for assigned deals.
  • Identify regional strategic projects and propose specific project strategies in collaboration with regional sales teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at identified regional EPCs.
  • Utilize account management tools to support EPCs under direct responsibility.
  • Promote the JC product portfolio and asset management in early project stages.
  • Coordinate with First Fit Sales teams to improve regional communication and support.
  • Support the End Users Sales organization to capture aftermarket business.
  • Prepare and distribute relevant activity reports.
  • Develop personal commercial and technical skills for process empowerment and simplification.
  • Ensure ethical conduct in business operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of relevant sales, application engineering, contract, or project management experience.
  • Degree in a technical discipline (Engineering - Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and lead projects.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Proven experience in large account management with complex sales implications.
  • In-depth understanding of Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industries preferred.
  • Commercially astute with a proper understanding of basic finance.
  • Curiosity and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Nice-to-haves
