About the position

The Epic Certified Principal Trainer / Instructional Designer at Accenture is responsible for leading the instructional design process for Epic modules, collaborating with various stakeholders to define learning objectives, and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of training programs. This role involves conducting training sessions, developing eLearning content, and maintaining a simulated training environment, all while ensuring accessibility and alignment with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end instructional design process for assigned Epic module(s).
• Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to define learning objectives and scope content.
• Provide training and guidance to classroom facilitators in a Train-the-Trainer capacity.
• Set up a simulated lower Epic training environment following standard methodologies.
• Review and approve instructional materials to ensure high-quality standards and alignment with learning objectives.
• Oversee the development of various learning formats, including eLearning and blended learning.
• Ensure all learning materials are accessible and comply with accessibility standards.
• Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and implement improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including implementation and application support.

Requirements

• Certified in one or more designated Epic applications (e.g., EpiCare Ambulatory, Epic Cupid, Epic Optime/Anesthesia).
• Minimum of two years of experience in training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual skills in French and English.
• Three or more years of experience as an Epic Certified Principal Trainer.
• Experience in at least one full implementation of Epic.
• Experience in Epic Healthy Planet, Beacon, Dialysis, Inpatient Behavioral Health, Orders, Long Term Care, and/or Stork.
