About the position

Job Summary: Under limited supervision, the ERP Programmer-Senior works primarily in ERP client/server enterprise applications to design and develop all aspects of data conversion. This role is crucial for the continued success of technology implementations across the institution. The individual will perform as a key functional analyst and developer for an application, designing and developing solutions that support a department's business needs and ensuring data quality. The ERP Programmer will support the production platform, develop new application functionalities, and modify existing rules and applications. The ERP Programmer will collaborate with application owners outside of IT to maintain the day-to-day and cyclical operations of an application for budgeting and forecasting processes and reporting needs. This includes planning, developing, testing, and implementing changes and new functionalities as requested by the application owners. The role also involves working with cross IT teams and application owners to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring timely resolutions and solutions. Staying current on all updates and patches is essential, as is the responsibility for developing and maintaining technical documentation. The ERP Programmer-Senior will also perform all other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop all aspects of data conversion for ERP applications.
  • Act as a key functional analyst and developer for applications, ensuring data quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience; or equivalent education with eight (8) years of related experience is required.
  • Experience with Peoplesoft development tools and upgrades is required.
  • Experience with HCM, FSCM, and Campus solutions is highly desired.
  • Experience working in a project environment is preferred.
  • Experience working with Oracle is preferred.
  • Experience integrating software as a service (SaaS) with on-premise systems is desired.
