About the position

Southwest Washington Esthetics Institute is an Exclusive Esthetics School located in the Longview/Kelso area of Southwest Washington. We are currently seeking exceptional esthetics instructors to support our growing population of talented students. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional customer service, verbal communication, and organizational skills, along with integrity, honesty, and an inherent passion to educate and enrich the lives of others. This part-time position offers flexibility with day and evening shifts, including Saturdays as needed. The professionals we seek must have at least 2 years of continuous experience in a spa, medspa, or similar environment with lasers. The Esthetics Program at SW Esthetics Institute embraces a clinical, results-oriented approach to skincare. Instructors will be responsible for developing and delivering a curriculum that aligns with industry standards and regulations. This includes instructing students on anatomy, laser treatments, and other premium skills. Instructors will provide hands-on training in esthetic laser treatment, facial treatments, and more, utilizing adult education techniques to engage and support students in their learning journey. Assessing student progress, providing feedback, and supporting their development in cosmetology are key responsibilities. Collaboration with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience for students is also essential. The compensation for this role is based on experience, ranging from $20 to $30 per hour. Requirements

  • Esthetician License
  • Instructor License (willing to train)
  • 2 years continuous experience in a spa, medspa, or similar environment (5+ recommended)
