About the position
We are seeking an entry-level Estimator to join our team at Fast Track Staffing, Inc. This position is crucial for analyzing plans to determine the types and quantities of materials required for specific flooring installations. The Estimator will prepare job cost estimates for Project Managers and Field Supervisors by performing various duties that ensure accuracy and efficiency in the estimation process. The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing data to determine material and labor requirements, ensuring that all estimates are thorough and timely. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating strong multitasking skills. The Estimator will compute cost factors and prepare estimates that are used for quotation purposes, which necessitates a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Additionally, the Estimator will consult with the Project Manager to discuss and formulate estimates, as well as to resolve any issues that may arise during the estimation process. Responsibilities

- Manages multiple projects concurrently with ability to multitask.
- Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for quotation purposes.
- Consults with Project Manager to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
