About the position

The ETL/Data Integration Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing ETL processes from diverse data sources. This role involves developing high-level conceptual models, logical models, and producing high-quality documentation. The developer will gather requirements, collect data definitions, perform source-to-target mapping, and define and implement data transformation processes. This individual contributor role requires flexibility to perform various functions such as analyst, designer, developer, tester, troubleshooter, performance tuner, and mentor within a collaborative Agile team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ETL processes from diverse data sources.
  • Develop high-level conceptual models and logical models.
  • Produce high-quality documentation for ETL processes.
  • Gather requirements and collect data definitions.
  • Perform source-to-target mapping and define data transformation processes.
  • Test ETL processes for accuracy and performance.
  • Mentor team members and collaborate within an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in ETL and data integration.

Nice-to-haves

  • Extensive experience in data migration projects using ETL/ELT tools.
  • Strong expertise in database modeling techniques.
  • Proven track record in application database re-engineering and redesign.
  • Skilled in developing complex SQL Server PL/SQL and Stored Procedures.
  • Experience with tools such as MuleSoft, Qlik, Talend, DataStage, AWS Glue, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Hands-on experience with database programming and SQL performance tuning.
