About the position

Praescient Analytics is seeking a Senior ETL Developer to support an IRS contract, focusing on the Return Review Program (RRP). The role involves developing and optimizing ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and related technologies, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of data handling for fraud detection in tax processing. The position is remote and requires U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Support the Return Review Program (RRP) for IRS tax processing.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Create, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, functions, SQL, and ETL processes.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically Agile.
• Provide on-call support during production maintenance hours.

Requirements

• 5+ years supporting DevOps/CICD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
• Experience with Informatica performance tuning of sources, mappings, targets, and sessions.
• 2+ years IRS-specific experience.
• 1+ years of DRIVE development or equivalent toolset.
• 1+ years using Rational Team Concert or equivalent toolset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Greenplum (PostgreSQL) and/or Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
