About the position

The ETL Developer with Ab Initio role involves designing and implementing data integration solutions using Ab Initio tools. The position requires strong expertise in ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and the ability to lead a team while interacting with clients. The developer will be responsible for driving project architecture, ensuring quality data flow, and creating necessary documentation.

Responsibilities

• Drive the architecture of a project, including authoring functional and design specifications.
• Lead and manage a team while interacting with end users and clients.
• Create documentation related to design documents, unit testing, handover, and walk-through documents.
• Implement ETL processes using Ab Initio tools and techniques.
• Ensure scalability, testing, and quality data flow in projects.

Requirements

• 9 years of experience in the IT industry with a strong background in data warehousing and ETL using Ab Initio.
• Excellent grasp of all components of Ab Initio including GDE, PSETS, PDL Programming, and Conduct>IT.
• Good experience in various Ab Initio parallelism techniques.
• Knowledge of Ab Initio AIR commands and Unix shell scripting.
• Familiarity with databases such as Oracle or PL/SQL.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Practical cloud native experience.
• Working experience in Ab Initio BRE Business Rule Environment or ACE Application.
