About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an ETL Developer for a contract position in the financial industry. The role involves developing and delivering solutions for data collection, transformation, and management, with a focus on migrating the data warehouse to Informatica Cloud IICS. The developer will work with various data integration services and collaborate with DBAs and Data Architects to implement effective data strategies.

Requirements

• 5 - 7 years' experience with Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, Oracle 11g/12c/19c SQL/PLSQL, and Autosys.
• Ability to handle end-to-end Data Warehouse and Data Integration considering business cases and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver solutions for data collection, transformation, and management.
• Migrate the data warehouse to Informatica Cloud IICS, focusing on Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
• Participate in ETL design of new or changing mappings and workflows, preparing technical specifications.
• Create ETL mappings, mapplets, workflows, and worklets using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x and prepare documentation.
• Design and build integrations supporting standard data warehousing objects like type-2 dimensions and star schema.
• Perform source system analysis as required.
• Collaborate with DBAs and Data Architects to plan and implement data partitioning strategies in the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Implement versioning of the ETL repository and supporting code as necessary.
• Develop stored procedures, database triggers, and SQL queries as needed.
• Implement best practices and optimize SQL queries for performance.
• Load and transform data from various external sources to relational databases using Informatica.
• Work with complex transformations such as XMLs and design SCD type 2 workflows.
• Utilize Informatica Data Quality tools as both an analyst and developer.
