About the position

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes that facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources into our data warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of big data technologies and database design principles, as well as experience with tools such as Talend and Informatica. The ETL Developer will work closely with data analysts and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity and availability for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL processes to extract data from multiple sources, transform it into a usable format, and load it into the data warehouse.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data needs.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for data integration.
• Ensure high-quality database design that supports efficient querying and reporting.
• Manage linked data across various platforms to enhance data accessibility.
• Optimize ETL workflows for performance improvements.
• Monitor ETL processes to ensure timely execution and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Document ETL processes, workflows, and best practices for future reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience in ETL development with tools such as Talend or Informatica.
• Strong knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks.
• Proficiency in database design principles and SQL.
• Experience working with AWS services related to data storage and processing.
• Familiarity with server management and deployment of ETL solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets effectively.
• Understanding of linked data concepts is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members effectively.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Snowflake (2 years preferred).
