About The Position

The Event Marketer at Leaf Home is responsible for representing the brand through face-to-face interactions with prospective customers at various pre-scheduled events. The primary goal of this role is to build brand awareness and convert that awareness into sales leads, contributing to the company's mission of making homeownership easy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to actively listen and rebut objections and answer questions regarding product performance or quality.
• Must have a smartphone for timekeeping and lead submission.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to engage attendees and present product demonstrations.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.
• Outgoing, friendly, and energetic personality.
• Ability to juggle various work activities and shift attention to meet demands.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on task completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to logically connect ideas and solve complex problems.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• Legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service and/or sales.
• Experience in the home improvement industry.

Responsibilities

• Attend consumer-facing shows including home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events.
• Interact with event attendees, provide informative product demonstrations, and generate sales leads.
• Overcome objections using proven sales techniques and training resources.
• Transport, assemble, and disassemble lightweight display equipment and marketing collateral.
• Submit sales leads at the conclusion of each shift.
• Meet predetermined performance goals for each event and other KPIs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
