About the position

The Event Marketing Manager for AWS will oversee the planning and execution of various internal events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective communication strategies. This role requires strong project management skills, relationship building, and the ability to manage complex programs while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and lead small, complex programs within the Internal Events portfolio.
  • Support Lead Program and Content Managers with event and work stream management across multiple programs.
  • Look for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Maintain strong relationships across the organization to support goals and communicate with internal leaders.
  • Manage leadership reviews, team meetings, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and post-event debriefs.
  • Support on-site execution of events.
  • Juggle multiple priorities while executing high-quality deliverables with attention to detail.
  • Work independently and autonomously.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Experience managing budgets.

Nice-to-haves
