About the position

The Event Marketing Manager at Leaf Home is responsible for developing and driving event-based marketing initiatives aimed at generating sales leads. This role involves hiring, training, and managing a team of Event Marketers, planning an event calendar, and collaborating with local operations to enhance brand presence. The position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to track and report on event performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive event-based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads.
• Identify, schedule, and plan an event calendar for a team of Event Marketers in assigned territory.
• Manage budgeting and staffing for identified local events.
• Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events to generate new sales leads.
• Collaborate with local Operation and Installation Managers to grow brand presence.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop Event Marketers, creating accountability through established goals and KPIs.
• Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI of events.
• Exceed sales lead quotas based on established KPIs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years experience in successful lead generation and management positions in direct-to-consumer industries
• Strong recruiting and training skills
• Experience with budgeting and planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to manage and develop others
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.
