About the position

We are a growing 15 year old Home Improvement and Remodeling company that is seeking someone to help expand our promotion and event marketing programs! This event coordinator will oversee our promotional programs in the metro area. This is an intensive full-time opportunity ideal for a detail oriented person who enjoys coordinating events, managing people, and is able to commit to weekend work times.

Responsibilities

  • Recruiting and managing a full and part-time promotional staff
  • Sales lead generation
  • Registering and setting up tables for events/trade shows
  • Marketing through social platforms
  • Training and teaching a team of event marketers to generate leads
  • Producing quality lead and appointment generation
  • Teaching and training staff to generate pre-qualified sales leads

Requirements

  • Comfortable managing a large team
  • Reliable and ensures staff is on time and prepared
  • Organized with promotional materials and brand training
  • Effective trainer with good communication skills
  • Ability to build valuable relationships with show promoters
  • Previous experience in Administrative/Reporting work
  • Good computer skills for timely online reports and budget analysis
