About the position

The Event Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and executing brand portfolio sampling and local marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and loyalty within a defined market. This role involves collaboration with various teams, overseeing part-time ambassadors, and ensuring successful event execution.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Brand Managers, local sales team, and Field Marketing Managers to execute events aligned with brand sampling platforms.
  • Provide direction, coaching, and communication to maintain brand accuracy in experiences and sampling.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and manage part-time Ambassadors.
  • Research, secure, and manage local events and partnerships.
  • Plan and manage all aspects of the event planning process including personnel, product delivery, transportation, supplies, contracts, insurance, and permits.
  • Increase market knowledge and identify groups and organizations for partnerships.
  • Prepare ambassadors for superior customer interactions and flawless event executions.
  • Oversee brand accuracy in event and partnership execution.
  • Participate in all regional events with ambassadors.
  • Execute strategic directions and manage goals for the assigned region/market.
  • Adhere to deadlines for administrative tasks including reporting and recapping data.
  • Assist in planning and executing marketing events and programs.
  • Respond in a timely manner to Director and Regional Field Manager.
  • Manage payroll and timesheets.
  • Maintain company assets including storage facilities, inventory, vehicles, and equipment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Event Marketing/Grassroots/Special Event/Promotions and Team Management experience.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
  • Ability to match field team to best represent the market.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent oral communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Excel, and internet usage.
