About the position

The Event Staff position is responsible for providing quality customer service to customers, patrons, and employees. This role involves establishing working relationships with customers, vendors, and employees while fulfilling assigned post orders. The Event Staff is expected to assist customers with various duties approved by the Security Manager and must maintain a professional image at all times. The essential functions of this role may vary based on department size, organizational structure, and geographic location, with reasonable accommodations made for differently-abled individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality service and maintain positive interactions with customers.
  • Greet all visitors, vendors, and employees while upholding standards of excellence in presentation and professionalism.
  • Maintain knowledge of emergency policies, procedures, and regulations; respond to emergency alarms or calls for help and notify appropriate authorities.
  • Perform post orders which may include Ticket Taking, Ushering, Guest Services, Elevator Operator, and Special Services.
  • Be vigilant in safety awareness and understand post orders, revisions, and daily event needs.
  • Know the chain of command and be prepared to expand duties as requested by the customer.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Willingness to submit to a background and drug screening where required.
