Our Event Staff play a crucial role in representing our home food delivery service, which specializes in all-natural and organic food products. This position is not just a job; it’s a chance to engage with the community at various fun festivals and events, creating a positive impression of our services while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of these gatherings. As an Event Marketer, you will be the face of our brand, actively engaging with attendees at home shows, street fairs, beer, wine, and food festivals. Your primary responsibility will be to sample our products and generate interest in our customized service. This role requires a friendly and enthusiastic demeanor, as you will be interacting with a diverse range of customers. You will also be responsible for distributing promotional materials such as recipes and brochures to enhance customer engagement and awareness. The position offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to work around your commitments while enjoying the excitement of various events. With shifts typically lasting between 5 to 8 hours, most events occur from Thursday to Sunday, providing ample opportunity for part-time work throughout the year. Responsibilities
- Actively engage customers and generate interest in the service.
- Offer promotional materials to customers (e.g., recipes, brochures, etc.).
- Meet schedules and deadlines for events.
- Use a mobile device to check in/out and complete same-day accurate data reporting.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a car/truck for transportation to events.
- Must have a smartphone with text and GPS capability, and an email address.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Comfortable and enjoy engaging the public and selling products.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the event shift.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior promotional demonstrating experience is a plus but not required.
- Reliability and motivation to work long-term in a part-time capacity.
