About the position

As a key member of the Field & Events team, you will manage Ramp's presence at conferences, trade shows, and industry events to drive awareness, demand, and revenue. In this role, you will take the lead in selecting, scoping, planning, and executing our pre, post, and during-event presence at various activations across the country. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to refine Ramp's field strategy for conferences and tradeshows, taking charge of our third-party event calendar. Responsibilities include logistics, staff training, booth production, and budget management. This high-impact role requires creative thinking, hands-on project management, and collaboration across functions to drive Ramp's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute Ramp's third-party (3P) direct events strategy in partnership with the Field & Events team leaders to reach ideal customers.
  • Manage end-to-end event campaigns, from vetting to post-event analysis and pipeline tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging, promotion, deliverables, and tactics align with event goals.
  • Own lead generation and pipeline targets.
  • Partner with the Sales team and other key stakeholders to align event goals and post-event learnings.
  • Collaborate with Finance on budget, pipeline, and resource forecasting.
  • Provide onsite event management as needed (travel required multiple times per quarter).

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in demand generation / sales pipeline building for tech organizations, including some B2B experience
  • Expertise in field or event marketing
  • Exceptional event management, project management, budget management, and reporting experience
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Business acumen with a focus on quantitative goals.
  • Self-starter with the ability to adapt in rapidly changing environments.
  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to travel multiple times per quarter.
