About the position

The Events Marketing Manager will oversee and execute all aspects of conferences and in-person events for AMCS Group across North America. This role is crucial in developing event strategies that align with the company's business objectives, ensuring exceptional experiences for attendees while managing logistics, budgets, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with AMCS Group's business objectives.
  • Manage all logistics for events, including venue selection, contract negotiations, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Create detailed project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure cohesive messaging and effective promotion of events.
  • Identify target audiences and develop strategies to attract attendees.
  • Create engaging content for event programs, including speaker recruitment and management.
  • Oversee all aspects of event execution, including setup, registration, and on-site logistics.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from attendees and stakeholders to assess the success of events.
  • Prepare post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution while maximizing ROI.
  • Identify and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance with company standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B event management, preferably in a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in event marketing sales software and tools - we use Salesforce Pardot.
  • Ability to travel as needed for events across North America.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
