CDM Smith has a new opening for an Executive Assistant in the Southeast. This role will support our Transportation Sales/Delivery Director. Responsibilities include researching, compiling, computing, and analyzing data using computer applications, including Concur. The position requires utilizing software applications for word processing and spreadsheets, performing analyses of a moderate to complex nature relative to financial data, organizational issues, senior management staff, professional organization, and/or business issues. The Executive Assistant will also utilize presentation software applications to prepare materials for internal and external presentations and/or professional organizational seminars, and perform extensive administrative support duties. Additionally, the role involves preparing and typing correspondence, reports, and records from moderately complex and/or confidential source documents, drafting and editing correspondence for management review, scheduling management travel arrangements, internal and external business meetings, and client or third-party appointments. The Executive Assistant will execute group, unit, or firm-wide initiatives, investigate assigned issues, coordinate group or unit work related to Human Resources issues, maintain communication flow of firm activities, and respond to questions while handling complex details and advanced administrative duties for leadership. The position also includes generating and distributing several weekly, monthly, and quarterly business operations reports with minimal supervision, maintaining business operation reports, and performing other office tasks as required.
