About the position

The Executive Clinical Director at Courage to Connect Therapeutic Center is a leadership role focused on overseeing clinical operations across multiple sites. This position combines administrative responsibilities with direct clinical oversight, ensuring that clinicians meet productivity goals while maintaining high standards of care. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to develop and implement policies that support the growth and efficiency of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure clinicians meet and achieve their productivity and production goals for weekly patient expectations.
  • Develop policy and procedures guidelines for clinical and operational aspects of practice.
  • Organize and lead restructuring of the practice to support growth and expansion of services.
  • Provide CEO weekly reports on clinic productivity and production.
  • Oversee intake department and schedules for all three departments.
  • Oversee billing department and billing metrics.
  • Manage and direct all aspects of the clinical side of the practice.
  • Serve as Primary Supervisor for associate level therapists and interns when needed, signing off on all clinical observations and supervisory notes.
  • Manage Supervision team providing group monthly meetings to promote a consistent and strong supervision program.
  • Develop a robust and comprehensive training program for all new hires, providing orientation and training on the program.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training therapists, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Oversee therapists in the associate therapy program and adherence to their agreed upon job responsibilities.
  • Work closely with the operations team and leadership to develop and implement improvement initiatives and changes as needed to enhance the quality of care and services.
  • Facilitate bi-monthly department meetings to maintain streamlined operational workflow and integration of new policies, procedures, systems, or changes in program structure.
  • Support therapy providers in facilitating and documenting proper assessments, recommendations, and referrals.
  • Run Quarterly all-staff meetings, Training Meetings and organizing CEU events for clinicians.
  • Consistently adhere to HIPAA and APA guidelines for proper implementation of ethical, legal, and cultural standards of care.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or above in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Hold licenses such as LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in psychiatric or mental health field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in advanced clinical management or leadership of practice setting preferred.
  • Experience working with Mental Health and Psychiatry Team.
