About the position

The Global Brand Finance & Strategy leader plays a strategic leadership role to let the Brand maximize sustainable growth and contribute to deliver the Company shareholder value goal. This role leads the strategy development and long-range planning and Financial Planning and Analysis for the brand working in partnership with the Brand Leadership Team, Region leadership and other corporate partners. This role will be dedicated support for the Brand and will rely on this role to anticipate trends, proactively drive value opportunities, manage risk and assess investment opportunities. Position is based in New York City, with frequent travel to Blaine, MN.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy development and long-range planning for the brand.
  • Coordinate and develop the Brand Strategy in partnership with the Brand's Leadership team.
  • Develop the Long-Range plan and leverage strategic financial analysis to optimize resource allocation.
  • Track progress on key strategic initiatives throughout the year.
  • Lead the Annual budget process, inclusive of target setting and budget coordination for the Global Brand.
  • Ensure resources are aligned to support and enable growth initiatives.
  • Manage the Global Brand Profit and Cash Flow estimate during the year.
  • Implement action plans to either fuel sales or protect profits.
  • Assess global brand performance utilizing financial, market, consumer and other KPIs.
  • Evaluate performance of new product launches, OPEX and Capital investment effectiveness.
  • Lead ongoing cost efficiency initiatives.
  • Play a leadership role in the SIOP meetings and support the Demand Management process.
  • Partner with Global Marketing to develop accurate cost objectives for new products.
  • Create a competitive advantage by building an engaging, diverse and inclusive culture.
  • Lead the Finance team to be a high performing unit.
  • Lead breakthrough projects to develop new business models and cost leverage.
  • Provide financial leadership and dedicated support to deliver optimum results for the global brand.

Requirements

  • MBA in Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years Financial Planning and Analysis experience including management of staff.
  • Full P&L financial responsibility.
  • Development of strategies and budgets.
  • Exceptional financial forecasting, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization, presentation and writing skills.
  • Organization development skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving and delivering results.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and matrix environment.
  • International travel required 4-5 times per year.
