About the position

The Executive Housekeeper at MasterCorp, Inc. is responsible for leading and managing housekeeping operations at the assigned site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service are met. This role involves developing and maintaining effective relationships with resort management and staff, overseeing personnel development, and ensuring compliance with company policies and performance metrics. The Executive Housekeeper plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment and achieving operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, motivation, and accountability for MasterCorp personnel at the assigned site.
  • Ensure the site meets quality, timeliness, and budget objectives.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company standards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and develop action plans for improvement as needed.
  • Maintain proper inventory of tools and chemicals, ensuring equipment is in good condition.
  • Provide routine updates to leadership regarding site performance and expectations.
  • Act as a change leader to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to maintain staffing levels and recruitment strategies.
  • Work with Learning and Development to implement onboarding and training strategies for team members.
  • Interview, select, onboard, and oversee training of site personnel.
  • Manage performance evaluations, coaching, and development of team members.
  • Establish a welcoming culture of engagement and inclusion among staff.
  • Address associate concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Conduct monthly QA audits to identify deficiencies and implement improvements.
  • Ensure a safe working environment through training and safety meetings.
  • Communicate company objectives effectively to the management team.
  • Build professional relationships with resort management and staff.
  • Develop a customer-first culture and maintain professional behavior with clients and guests.
  • Comply with Resort Operations non-negotiables and ensure proper use of MasterMind Mobile for updates.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years of progressive management responsibility.
  • Outstanding analytical ability with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Superior problem-solving and reasoning skills.
  • Proven track record of driving strong performance metrics in field operations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Proactive, self-managing, and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work irregular hours.

  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
