About the position

Property Management Company is searching for a professional to be a part of our dynamic and growing team as an Assistant Manager/Leasing Agent. We value a good attitude, a willingness to learn, teamwork, and integrity. We are now hiring an experienced Assistant Manager/Leasing Agent for an apartment community of 200+ units in Garland, TX. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of leasing experience and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Bi-lingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required. The candidate should have knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations, and the ability to work well in a team while being self-motivated to work unsupervised. The role requires prioritizing responsibilities and handling multiple tasks effectively. Experience with ResMan is a plus. We offer an excellent salary along with great benefits!

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the leasing office and property operations.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and prospective tenants.
• Conduct property tours and show available units to potential renters.
• Process rental applications and conduct background checks.
• Maintain knowledge of property management laws and regulations.
• Assist in marketing and advertising the property to attract new tenants.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.
• Handle resident inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years leasing experience (Required).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bi-lingual (fluent in Spanish and English) is required.
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations.
• Ability to work well in a team and self-motivated to work unsupervised.
• Experience with ResMan is a plus.
