The FA&A .Net Developer position is seeking a transformative and high performing individual to join in building out a new team in the Finance Centre of Excellence. This role requires advanced technical skills, a lean mindset, and a self-starter attitude. The developer will perform first level of Production Support, conduct analysis and design, write technical specifications, and program our tools, including testing and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and support of the Finance Technology Automation portfolio
• Perform analysis and provide maintenance of the Finance Technology Automation Tools and reports
• Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering inquiries, and handling complaints
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver relevant information
• Design comprehensive solutions, translating complex requirements into optimal Development Designs
• Build Web solutions using Development design patterns, OOP and MVC
• Perform program modifications, performance tuning, problem-solving, debugging, and unit testing

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant working experience in IT-related field
• IT Bachelor-level university/college degree in IT-related field
• Team-oriented person who can focus on the details
• Working Knowledge of ITIL methodology (Incident Management/Change Management)
• Ability to troubleshoot, support and maintain the tools and projects handled by the team
• Experience on back-end Development such as .NET, ColdFusion, Java, or similar Object-oriented languages
• Good understanding of Front-end development technologies such as JS, jQuery, Ajax, JSON
• Expertise understanding Web Development concepts such as MVC, OOP, Design Patterns
• Experience in SQL Scripting using various Data Type extension, Variables, Procedures, Triggers, Joins, Modelling Language and Best Practices
• Familiar with HANA Studio/ MS SQL Studio/Snowsight
• Knowledge of data modeling in multiple databases such as Snowflake, Hana View, and Teradata
• Knowledge in integration services such as SSIS
• Business acumen: capable of understanding finance concepts, processes, and measures contained in user requirements documentation
• Fluent in English - read, write, speak
• A problem solver with a client service and quality-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Some exposure to scripting language - Python, Java, R
• Understanding of client/server architecture for Web Development
• Familiar with Alteryx desktop and server schedule, monitor, and enhance workflow performance
