About the position

The Facilities Engineering Compliance Manager at Sodexo is a strategic role focused on overseeing healthcare facilities engineering compliance across over 300 ambulatory locations in Northeast Ohio. This position is crucial for ensuring regulatory compliance and the safety of employees, visitors, and patients within the healthcare environment. The manager will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and auditing compliance strategies related to healthcare facilities and associated equipment, while also supporting medical centers in a collaborative role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee healthcare facilities engineering compliance across multiple locations.
• Plan, develop, implement, and audit compliance strategies and initiatives.
• Ensure protection from hazards within the physical environment, fire and life safety, and environmental health and safety risks.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with standards and guidelines.
• Lead the exchange of sensitive information and convey performance expectations.
• Motivate the team to achieve operational targets across multiple disciplines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare facilities engineering compliance.
• Strong knowledge of codes such as NFPA, ASHRAE, FGI, TJC, DNV/ISO 9001, OSHA, EPA.
• CHSP, CHFM, and/or CHOP certifications preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
