About the position

Sodexo is seeking a seasoned Maintenance and Facilities Manager for The Hearthstone in Seattle, WA. This role involves overseeing all aspects of building services, project management, and sustainability within a community that offers a deep connection to nature. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for building maintenance, janitorial services, housekeeping, laundry, and grounds services, while also managing budgets, human resources, and staff training. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee building maintenance, janitorial, housekeeping, and laundry services.
  • Manage grounds services and utilities.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain budgets for facilities operations.
  • Handle human resources functions including staff training and safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain inventory control processes.
  • Foster strong relationships with client stakeholders and internal staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of management experience in facilities maintenance or engineering services.
  • 3 years of functional experience in plant operations or facilities maintenance.
  • Strong technical skills in all trades, especially HVAC.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice-to-haves
