About the position

As a Healthcare Operations Manager (Facility Administrator) at DaVita, you will play a crucial role in leading a team that prioritizes patient care and operational excellence in an outpatient clinic setting. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete operation and performance of the clinic. This includes adhering to budgetary constraints, forecasting expenses, managing vendor relationships, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will have the autonomy to run your clinic, supported by your director, regional peers, and the broader company. DaVita fosters an entrepreneurial spirit and encourages continuous improvement, allowing you to implement changes that enhance patient care and operational efficiency. You will lead a cross-functional clinical team, mentoring and inspiring them to deliver the best possible care for patients, teammates, and the community. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with clinical and financial teams to achieve business objectives. Additionally, you will partner with the Regional Operations Director to address employee and patient concerns, driving towards regional goals and standards. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the operations of the outpatient clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional clinical team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
  • Manage financial aspects of the clinic, including budgeting, forecasting expenses, and vendor relationships.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and support among team members.
  • Implement clinical goal-setting and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient health.
  • Partner with the Regional Operations Director to address employee and patient concerns and drive towards regional goals.
  • Ensure the clinic operates efficiently and effectively, adhering to company standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree OR Registered Nurse license with Dialysis experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience in healthcare, business, or military, or equivalent renal experience (nurse, dietitian, social worker, LPN, etc.).
  • Current CPR certification required (or certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire or change in position).
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with clinical and financial teams.
