About the position

As a Facility Maintenance Manager at Lineage Logistics, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all maintenance-related activities within a smaller non-automated or automated facility. This role requires adherence to all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. You will oversee the maintenance team, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a safe working environment. Your leadership will be crucial in training and providing performance feedback to direct reports, which will help enhance productivity and effectiveness within the team. In this position, you will implement and ensure compliance with various safety programs, including fire, risk, environmental, and health and safety protocols. You will also be tasked with managing, planning, and scheduling the maintenance workload using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Collaboration with the facility General Manager is essential, as you will develop and adhere to annual budgets for labor and materials. Additionally, you will review monthly utility reports, discuss results, and provide innovative solutions to improve energy management. Your role will also involve making recommendations for future capital expenditure projects and ensuring their timely completion. You will manage site-specific projects related to energy efficiency studies in collaboration with the Lineage Energy Management department. Furthermore, you will provide guidance on the design and management of future building or automation projects in partnership with Network Optimization. Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all maintenance-related activities of the facility.
  • Train, provide performance feedback, and assign duties to direct reports.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with fire, safety, risk, environmental, and health and safety programs.
  • Manage, plan, and schedule maintenance workload using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Collaborate with the facility General Manager to develop and adhere to annual budgets for labor and materials.
  • Review monthly utility reports and provide solutions for energy management.
  • Make recommendations on future capital expenditure projects and ensure timely completion.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3 years of facility maintenance management experience including resource planning.
  • Experience working on and around ammonia refrigeration systems in temperature-controlled facilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Process Safety Management and Risk Management Plan regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in mechanical and electrical fundamentals and applications.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit while wearing personal protective equipment and freezer gear.
  • Comfortable with various noise levels, which can be loud at times.
