We are seeking a Healthcare Facility Manager to oversee the efficient operation and management of our healthcare facility. The primary responsibilities of this role include ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, developing safety policies, maintaining security standards, implementing facility management plans, and managing equipment maintenance programs. The Healthcare Facility Manager will also be responsible for budgeting, daily operations management, space management, and various other duties related to facility upkeep and improvement. This position is crucial in ensuring that the facility operates smoothly and meets all regulatory requirements while providing a safe and effective environment for both staff and patients. The Healthcare Facility Manager will ensure compliance with local laws and regulations to ensure the facility operates within legal parameters. This includes developing safety policies and procedures and ensuring all staff members are aware of their health and safety responsibilities. Maintaining security standards by implementing appropriate measures and regularly assessing and monitoring security systems is also a key responsibility. The manager will create and implement a comprehensive facility management plan to effectively manage the facility's operations and resources, understand the design of the building and its systems to effectively address any facility-related issues, and develop maintenance programs, schedule equipment inspections, and assess the need for repairs or renovations to maintain optimal facility functioning. In addition to overseeing budgets to determine revenues and expenses, the Healthcare Facility Manager will identify areas for cost optimization, manage daily operations, including leading and supervising employees, ensuring the provision of high-quality care, and ensuring the availability of necessary tools and resources. The role also involves improving the functionality of the workspace by assessing and implementing space management strategies, inspecting buildings and equipment regularly to identify maintenance or repair needs, and taking necessary corrective actions. The manager will also be responsible for purchasing and installing furniture and equipment as needed, ensuring they meet the facility's standards and requirements, negotiating service agreements with vendors, and overseeing their execution to ensure quality services are provided. Finally, providing training and support to medical staff to ensure their effective use of facility resources and adherence to established policies and procedures is essential.
