About the position

Clean Harbors located in Baltimore, MD is looking for a Facility Operations Manager I to join their safety-conscious team. The Facility Operations Manager will be responsible for establishing a new E-Waste disposal hub next door to our Baltimore facility. This role involves overseeing the operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing the disposal of electronic waste, which includes all types of electronics. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in setting up the hub, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that the facility operates efficiently and safely. In addition to establishing the E-Waste disposal hub, the Facility Operations Manager will be tasked with developing operational procedures, training staff, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. The manager will also need to maintain relationships with external vendors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental standards. This employee will need to be open to travel to Reidsville, NC for training and possible interaction with that established E-Waste disposal team once onboarded. The role is critical in promoting Clean Harbors' commitment to health and safety, as well as environmental responsibility.

Responsibilities
