About the position

GoHypersonic Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee security operations at their Dayton, OH and Minneapolis, MN offices. This role involves managing facility security, personnel security, program security, operational security, and information systems security, ensuring compliance with security requirements and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain facility security, including building video monitoring and alarm systems.
  • Coordinate with the facility security services company as required.
  • Oversee and coordinate the construction, accreditation, operation, and maintenance of classified facilities including SCIFs and SAPFs.
  • Maintain control over classified containers and their contents.
  • Serve as the ISSM, responsible for the accreditation, operation, and maintenance of classified networks.
  • Prepare and update Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation.
  • Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures for information systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage information system vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee user access management and ensure compliance with information security requirements.
  • Provide security awareness training and guidance to system users.
  • Review, evaluate, and fingerprint candidates for program positions requiring access to classified information.
  • Maintain continuous evaluation and handle re-investigations as required.
  • Process visit requests for GHI employees and visitors.
  • Issue courier cards to qualified employees.
  • Provide ongoing security training for cleared and non-cleared employees.
  • Maintain cleared personnel records.
  • Assist program managers to ensure proper implementation of security requirements.
  • Prepare and route for approval program documentation such as PPPs, transportation plans, and TSWAs.
  • Assist with safeguarding and marking program material.
  • Monitor enterprise activities and practices to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Enact policies and procedures to prevent access to or loss of sensitive information.
  • Maintain and operate the insider threat program.
  • Lead security incident response and reporting efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Security, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or Business Administration).
  • Five or more years of relevant experience, including at least two years as an FSO and/or ISSM in a DoD or DoD contractor environment (desired).
  • Held a secret-collateral or higher clearance within the last 5 years (TS/SCI preferred).

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification.
  • Thorough understanding of the NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and information security best practices.
  • Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
