About the position

The Facility Warehouser plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring that all activities related to shipping, receiving, inventory control, and general administrative functions are executed efficiently. This position is based at Facility #4347, located at 10695 Winnetka Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445. The selected individual will be responsible for preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup according to a set schedule, which includes loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping products. The role requires a keen attention to detail, particularly when receiving and processing warehouse stock products, as accuracy is paramount in checking incoming merchandise against bills of lading and invoices. In addition to order preparation, the Facility Warehouser will perform inventory controls to maintain high quality standards and ensure that the stockroom is organized. This includes loading and unloading products from deliveries, operating tinting and mixing equipment, and utilizing material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment is essential, as is optimizing space utilization within the warehouse. The individual will also be expected to complete diary logs into inventory, report any discrepancies, and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety, loss prevention, and security protocols. The position operates on a schedule from Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, and offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.91 to $20.29, with an additional $1.50 shift differential for working the second shift.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Check incoming merchandise against bills of lading and invoice for accuracy
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high
  • Load and unload products from deliveries
  • Operate tinting and mixing equipment and material handling equipment in an efficient and safe manner
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Ensure that the stockroom is organized
  • Complete diary logs into inventory
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including safety, loss prevention, and security
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. on occasion

Nice-to-haves

  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience mixing or blending raw materials and making a product in an industrial batch process
  • Have at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollys, conveyor belts, etc.)
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have prior work experience operating tinting or color matching equipment
  • Have prior work experience repairing spray equipment
