About the position

Transworld Systems, Inc. (TSI) is seeking a FACS Application Senior Support Representative to join our Information Technology team. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to work from home while contributing to our customer-first approach in providing outsourcing services, accounts receivable management, loan servicing, and legal services. In this role, you will participate as a key member of the IT technical team, analyzing and evaluating the functionality of existing and proposed IT systems and services. You will provide technical guidance and support for the FACS application, ensuring its effective operation across all TSI Operations branch offices. Your responsibilities will include standardizing and optimizing FACS application tools, enforcing policies and procedures for end users, and creating customizations to manage day-to-day business operations. You will also be involved in developing, testing, documenting, and implementing programming solutions using FACS and non-FACS tools to meet functional specifications. As a FACS Application Senior Support Representative, you will assist in planning and organizing space allocation, security, and vendor relations, while maintaining user environment security. Training end users on software usage and responding to their inquiries will be essential parts of your role. You will communicate with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operational issues, and participate in various IT projects. Compliance with applicable laws and TSI policies is crucial, and you will provide feedback to management regarding potential problems and areas for improvement. This position requires a high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of one year of experience with FACS is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills. The ability to work in a team-oriented, multi-tasked environment is essential, as is the capacity to adapt to a flexible schedule. Physical requirements include normal vision, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally, and the ability to perform essential functions in a moderate noise level indoor environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participates as a member of an Information Technology technical team.
  • Analyzes and evaluates functionality of existing and/or proposed IT systems/services, assists in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support of the FACS application and its operation use for all TSI Operations branch offices.
  • Standardize and optimize the FACS application tools among the Operations offices.
  • Enforce policies and procedures related to FACS end users, user environment, directories, and security.
  • Responsible for creating and implementing FACS customizations to manage day to day business.
  • Consult with users to determine the specifications needed.
  • Develop, test, document, and implement programming using FACS application programming tools and nonFACS tools to meet the functional specifications.
  • Execute system strategies for improved efficiencies.
  • Assist Computer Operators to plan, organize, and manage space allocation, security, safety, storage, and vendor relations.
  • Maintain security with regards to user environments on FACS.
  • Train end users on usage of software.
  • Respond to the needs and questions of FACS users concerning their access to resources on and the operation of FACS.
  • Communicate with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operations problems.
  • Participate in projects performed by the IT Department.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations relating to job duties.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with TSI policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to management concerning possible problems or areas of improvement.
  • Make recommendations to implement improved processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate or equivalent in relevant work experience desired.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 1 year of previous work related experience with FACS required.
  • 2-3 years of previous work related experience with FACS preferred.
  • Crystal Reports experience preferred.
  • Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
