About the position

The Wealth Partner at CNB Bank is responsible for delivering exceptional personalized service to clients, focusing on asset growth and protection. This role emphasizes relationship management, community involvement, and the effective use of technology to enhance client experiences. The Wealth Partner is expected to maintain accuracy in all client-related activities while pursuing professional development opportunities to stay informed about industry regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Discover customer needs and develop solutions to exceed their goals and expectations.
  • Engage in relationship management activities to nurture and expand client relationships.
  • Represent the corporation positively and engage in community activities to promote goodwill and generate new business.
  • Embrace and manage change effectively while adhering to customer service standards.
  • Perform accurate reviews and research for all maintenance, transactional, and client-related activities.
  • Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulations at both Federal and State levels.
  • Seek professional development opportunities to advance knowledge in asset management.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Wealth Management, Wealth Advisement, or a related field required.
  • 15+ years of experience in banking or financial services preferred.
  • Prior sales and new business development experience required.
  • Proven experience advising clients on investments, pre-retirement, education funding, and financial planning.
  • CFP or similar professional designation preferred.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses plus OH Life & Health license preferred, to be obtained within 180 days.

  • Experience in managing client relationships in a financial services context.
