About the position

The Federal Paralegal position at Windsor Group LLC involves providing comprehensive paralegal support for employment litigation and various administrative law matters. The role requires a strong understanding of legal analysis methods and the ability to produce high-quality legal documentation. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys in the Labor and Employment Law practice area and other legal practices, ensuring effective case management and legal research.

Responsibilities

  • Provide substantive paralegal, administrative, and other assistance to support attorneys in Labor and Employment Law and other legal practices.
  • Perform in-depth legal research using standard and specialized resources.
  • Communicate legal research findings in written summaries and oral presentations.
  • Assist in case tracking using SharePoint and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Review, cite-check, finalize, and serve briefs and other legal filings.
  • Coordinate with pro se litigants, opposing counsel, courts, and witnesses.
  • Prepare litigation reports summarizing facts, legal issues, and case status.
  • Draft, edit, and ensure quality control of internal documentation, including memos and policies.
  • Prepare exhibits for hearings and trials, including visual materials like charts and diagrams.
  • Participate in depositions and note deficiencies in case materials.

Requirements

  • At least five years of paralegal experience.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Paralegal Certificate is a plus.
  • Experience in litigation and organizing legal arguments using IRAC, CRAC, and CREAC methods.
  • Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat for document redaction.
  • Ability to provide monthly reports by deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SharePoint and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Familiarity with administrative law matters.
