About the position

The Federal Product Lead & Business Management Analyst role at U.S. Bank is a hybrid position that integrates strategic product management with business analysis and process improvement. This position specifically supports the Federal Retail Bond Program, ensuring compliance with federal regulations while driving the development and management of product solutions. The role serves as a bridge between technology and business, focusing on product vision and operational management, with a strong emphasis on adherence to federal compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product planning, development, management, and customer experience to deliver on a human-plus-digital product strategy.
  • Create and maintain product vision, focusing on customer segments, market needs, channels, go-to-market strategy, and value propositions within the Federal Retail Bond Program.
  • Ensure the product design and operational processes align with the unique requirements of the Federal Retail Bond Program.
  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, and risk teams to ensure all activities adhere to federal regulations.
  • Analyze and improve business processes, ensuring policy compliance, and increasing operational efficiency within the Treasury or other functional teams.
  • Provide problem-solving support for internal and external stakeholders with a specific focus on federal program requirements.
  • Oversee and manage projects related to product implementation and ongoing management, including compliance monitoring, vendor risk management, and cross-functional collaboration with teams such as risk management, procurement, and corporate finance.
  • Collaborate at senior levels with cross-functional teams to align on product combinations and pricing strategies.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to the role supporting a Federal program.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related fields, preferably with experience in federal program management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced capability in product strategy, profitability analysis, customer experience, and market insights.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and experience in improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with Federal Compliance, particularly in relation to the Federal Retail Bond Program or similar federal initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Tungsten (formerly Kofax) Total Agility.
