The Feed Mill Receiving Technician is responsible for unloading bulk, liquid, and warehouse trucks, as well as rail cars and unit trains. This role involves transferring corn to grinding bins and soy to batching bins, inspecting incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards, and organizing stock identification tags for all ingredients. The technician must ensure that storage areas do not overflow and that all products are directed to the proper bins and tanks. Daily tasks include completing paperwork, conducting ingredient inventory, and maintaining a rail yard track list. Communication with the Control Operator regarding production needs is essential, as is compliance with the Warehouse Rotation Policy. The technician is also responsible for cleaning magnets on leg boots and checking receiving pits and tunnels for water and product.
