We are seeking a highly motivated Application Engineering Consultant to join our Calibre Foundry/SEMI Manufacturing Solutions team. As a key member of our high-performing Application Engineering Team, you will play a crucial role in advancing our Calibre-based RET/OPC and Mask solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Computational Lithography, establishing a 'trusted advisor' relationship with leading customers and partners.
  • Collaborate with the product team to develop software prototypes addressing computational lithography and advanced mask challenges using Python/TCL, Calibre API, and the Calibre DRC/OPC Platform.
  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions on Calibre OPC/MPC Platforms.
  • Drive the adoption, proliferation, and successful production deployment of Calibre products from design through mask production.
  • Provide support to our leading-node customers in US and Europe.
  • Work with both advanced technology nodes.
  • Test, customize, and deploy new features in collaboration with the product team.
  • Demonstrate our product's capabilities and contribute to sales initiatives.

Requirements

  • PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Applied Math, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant industry experience; or a Master's degree with over 8 years of industry experience.
  • Experience in simulation, software prototyping, software development, and machine learning is desired.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TCL, or C/C++ is desired.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and a self-motivated curiosity about AI and advanced semiconductor manufacturing are required.
  • Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills are essential, as this role involves direct interaction with customers.
  • Strong team player with a can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of photolithography, including optics, resist modeling, mask synthesis, mask and wafer metrology and inspection.
