In this role, you will work closely with a team to execute strategies that build excitement around the Home Energy Assessment process. You will be expected to keep your canvassing supervisor updated on individual and team goals, ensuring that everyone is aligned and motivated to meet lead generation targets. The position requires a commitment to working flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings, to maximize outreach efforts. As part of your responsibilities, you will also acquire and retain industry knowledge, which you will train to other employees. Representing New England Smart Energy with professionalism and integrity is paramount, as you will be the face of the company in the community. Responsibilities

  • Canvass door to door to generate qualified leads
  • Work a table at assigned events, trade shows, and retail locations to schedule qualified leads
  • Schedule Connecticut residents for no-cost home energy assessments
  • Execute team strategy to build excitement about the Home Energy Assessment process to prospective residents
  • Acquire, retain, and constantly develop industry knowledge and train the material to employees
  • Represent New England Smart Energy and its brand with professionalism and integrity
  • Meet and exceed our lead generation goals
  • Sometimes commuting team to and from workplaces
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned, including liaising between police departments and New England Smart Energy

Requirements

  • Outstanding communication and people skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Keeping canvassing supervisor updated on individual and team goals
  • Interest in energy efficiency and the environment
  • Ability to commute to locations such as North Adams, Springfield, or Pittsfield daily for canvassing
  • Must be able to work between scheduled hours of 9 am - 7 pm depending on team availability
